The largest blockchain game developer to launch a chess game

Animoca Brands and its subsidiary Lympo have announced that they are developing a blockchain game called Anichess in collaboration with Play Magnus Group (PMG). The team took inspiration from the Norwegian chess grandmaster Magnus Carlsen, who is currently a five-time world champion.

Anichess is a blockchain-based chess game with a play-and-earn environment. The developers are planning to launch it in 2023, so they are confident that the game will combine the real world of sports chess and GameFi to give participants a vivid gaming experience.

Lympo’s partnership with Play Magnus Group will give the development team access to a group of more than thirty chess grandmasters, including Magnus Carlsen, Jan Krzysztof Duda, Liem Le, and more. The geniuses of chess matches will be able to give advice and monitor the development of the skills of the game participants. The developers are sure: Anichess will be interesting for both amateurs and professionals.
