The cryptocurrencies that showed the greatest growth over the past day

Cryptocurrency market experts have noted three digital assets that have risen in price by more than 10% over the past 24 hours. The best results of the day were recorded for Celsius (CEL), TerraClassicUSD (USTC), and EOS (EOS).

The first place went to CEL, which has a market capitalization of $ 360.22 million. The value of the virtual token ranges from $ 1.51. Thus, CEL has risen in price by almost a third, adding 29.13% over the past day.

In July, the Celsius Network cryptocurrency platform filed for bankruptcy. However, this did not prevent the Celsius Network CEL utility token from rising in value by more than 4000% in just two months of summer. In August, the cryptocurrency exchange was again accused of trying to conceal cryptocurrency fraud and deceive its investors.

The second place went to TerraClassicUSD (USTC), which lost its peg to the USD. The digital token is currently trading at $ 0.036. The virtual currency has added 15.8% over the past 24 hours, and its market capitalization is $ 356.74 million.

It is worth noting that TerraformLabs' attempt to recover from the TerraUSD (UST) token crash ended in failure, as the LUNA 2.0 cryptocurrency token dropped in price by 85%. The reason for the uncontrolled fall was the cryptocurrency market’s distrust of Terraform Labs founder Do Kwon. The creator of the Luna cryptocurrency denies any wrongdoing, though he is hiring lawyers for a potential lawsuit with the South Korean government.

EOS took the third place in the top. As of September 2, 2022, the cryptocurrency is trading at $ 1.54, which is 12.02% higher than the price of the previous day. Market participants provided trading volumes of $ 565.32 million.
