The absolute leader was the token of the decentralized finance platform Reserve Rights. Over the past seven days, the cryptocurrency has risen in price by 51.19% and is trading at $ 0.0081. The total supply of coins on the market is $ 342.63 million. It is worth noting that this is the first time in history that a virtual asset has broken into the top 100.
Ripple (XRP) managed to take the second place. The digital coin gained 38.89% over the week. Currently, XRP is trading at $ 0.4822, and the cryptocurrency’s capitalization is $ 24.09 billion.
Experts note the growth of the virtual asset against the backdrop of Ripple’s litigation against the SEC (US Securities and Exchange Commission). The regulator accused Ripple of selling unregistered securities and tried to prove it for two years. In its lawsuit, the SEC claims that the native token of the XRP platform is an investment contract — a special class of securities. However, Ripple’s lawyers assure that the company has never entered into investment contracts with buyers of the digital asset.
The COMP virtual token has risen in price by 26.6% over the past seven days. The cryptocurrency rate was fixed at $ 62.49, and the total supply of coins circulating on the market amounted to $ 454.09 million.
The Algorand (ALGO) cryptocurrency also grew by more than 20% over the week. The virtual asset was traded at $ 0.3725, which is 23.98% more expensive than 7 days ago. ALGO’s capitalization amounted to $ 2.58 billion.
