The cryptocurrency that grew by 88% in 24 hours is named

Cryptocurrency analysts have drawn attention to the Band Protocol (BAND) token, which has grown by 88.4% over the past day. At the time of writing, BAND is trading at $ 3.46.

Over the past week, the value of BAND has jumped by 162%. Experts attributed the strong interest in the digital asset to the fact that the developers of Band Protocol, which provides DeFi services for Injective, Loopring, CREAM Finance, and other crypto startups, have announced plans to upgrade the main network. The upgrade will increase the capacity of the blockchain oracle.

As for the Dogecoin meme token, which also showed sharp growth, however, due to other events(the acquisition of Twitter by Elon Musk), the situation is somewhat different now. The cryptocurrency fell by more than 11% after a report from media platform Platformer. It stated that Twitter had suspended the development of a cryptocurrency wallet. Previously, Musk has repeatedly hinted at the potential integration of DOGE into the social network, but so far, this remains only at the level of theory.

At the time of writing, DOGE is trading for $ 0.12, which is 6.93% less than 24 hours ago. The meme-coin has a market capitalization of $ 16.7 billion and traders made $ 554.2 million worth of daily deals.
