Cryptocurrencies that fell the most over the past month

3:43 pm, September 3, 2022

Cryptocurrency market experts have identified three digital assets that showed the worst results in August, with some cryptocurrencies losing more than 43% of their value. Helium (HNT), Filecoin (FIL), and Arweave (AR) recorded the largest price drops.

The first place in the anti-rating was taken by the cryptocurrency Helium (HNT), whose value decreased by 48.7%. The last month of summer, HNT started at $ 9.31 and ended at $ 4.77. Due to the drop in the exchange rate, the token’s capitalization dropped to $ 606.68 million. Nevertheless, interest in Helium has remained — the daily trading volume of HNT at the time of writing is $ 19.97 million.

The value of the Filecoin (FIL) cryptocurrency fell by 43.5%. At the time of writing, FIL is trading for $ 5.67, but in early August, the token’s value was $ 10.04. Filecoin’s capitalization has decreased to $ 1.56 billion.

The third place went to Arweave (AR), whose price dropped by 31.4%. At the beginning of August, AR was trading for $ 14.72, and at the end — for $ 10.09. The total market capitalization of Arweave fell to $ 505.43 million, and the trading volume decreased to $ 11.65 million per day.

As a reminder, cryptocurrency analysts have suggested that high unemployment in the United States could cause the flagship cryptocurrency to drop to $ 15,000. Experts came to this conclusion after the publication of the US employment report, with disappointingly high unemployment rates indicating that the Federal Reserve will raise interest rates even further.
