Cryptocurrencies that showed the worst results for the week

Ten cryptocurrency assets from the top 100 fell in price during the week. The rest of the virtual currencies grew in value or maintained parity with stablecoins. Terra Classic (LUNC) showed the worst result, as the price of the cryptocurrency fell by 13.89% over the past 7 days. The virtual currency is trading at $ 0.29, with a market capitalization of $ 1.82 billion.

The obvious reason for the drop was a court warrant for the arrest of Terraform Labs CEO Do Kwonand five other employees of the company. They were officially accused of violating the country’s legislation on financial capital markets. According to the prosecutor’s office, six of the defendants in the case are currently in Singapore, and Do Kwon himself has not yet responded to the court order. However, the developer had hired a lawyer in South Korea even before the formal charges were filed. It seems that Kwon is preparing for a long legal battle.

The second place was taken by the UNUS SED LEO (LEO) cryptocurrency — its value was fixed at $ 4.81, which is 6.46% lower than last week. The total supply of coins in the market is $ 4.59 billion.

TerraClassicUSD (USTC) took the third place in the list of the week’s most unprofitable cryptocurrencies. The price of the asset fell to $ 0.036, which is 4.5% lower than a week ago. The cryptocurrency’s market capitalization amounted to $ 358.14 million.

Neutrino USD (-2.96%), Maker (-1.95%), Mina (-1.82%), Synthetix (-1.37%), Klaytn (-0.94%), Lido DAO (-0.78%), and 1inch Network (-0.58%) were also added to the list of the week’s losing cryptocurrencies.
