The best cryptocurrency games of the year are announced

Last night, the GAM3 Awards ceremony took place — an analog of the Grammys, but for Web3 games. The winners in 16 categories were announced.

The most attention was drawn to the Game of the Year category, which was won by Big Time. It also took the award in the Best Adventure Game category. The best action game was Superior, and the best mobile game was Thetan Arena. Illuvium took the award in the Best Role Playing Game category. Gods Unchained won in two nominations at once — Best Strategy Game and Best Card Game.

The winners will share a prize pool of over a million dollars. The award was sponsored by MetaCon, Immutable X, Arcade, Blockchain Game Alliance, and other cryptocurrency companies and associations.

The games were judged by Justin Kahn (founder of Fractal), Urvith Goel (head of global games at Polygon Studios), as well as representatives of Immutable X, Solana Foundation, and Avalanche. The gaming community participated in the voting, which influenced the final results — more than 250,000 votes were cast in all 16 categories.
