Netflix teams up with Polygon to launch NFT project
Korean company AIMC and the producers of the Netflix series Extraordinary Attorney Woo have teamed up with Polygon to create an NFT collection. The project is aimed at informing the public about ASD — autism spectrum disorder.
The popular Netflix TV show is the life story of Wu-Yang-Wu, a witty lawyer girl with autism. According to the show, Wu’s attention is constantly focused on whales, which is why the animals became the subject of the NFT collection.
The project aims to unite the community of fans of The Extraordinary Attorney Woo and the Web3 generation on the Polygon platform. AIMC is working with Web3 CIETY to create unique NFTs.
«The heroine of the series, Woo-Yon-Woo, gives hope and courage to millions of people around the world. We are preparing the Extraordinary Whale Club NFT to support Wu-Yong-Wu fans around the world, to give courage and hope to many other people affected by autism spectrum disorder (ASD),» commented Han Semin, CEO of AIMC.
The company will also establish a decentralized autonomous organization (DAO) to raise charitable funds to support people with ASD.
