New cryptocurrency Lagrange has risen sharply by 185% immediately after launch

The Lagrange (LA) token, associated with the Lagrange Foundation project, is showing significant growth: its value has risen by 185% since its launch. This jump was caused by the listing on several leading cryptocurrency exchanges, with Binance being the first to act.

Lagrange is an infrastructure project that uses zero-knowledge (ZK) technology for decentralized proof-of-work and cross-chain data processing. The project has two main protocols: ZK Prover Network and ZK Coprocessor. In this context, the LA token serves as a utilitarian tool: it is used to pay for the generation of evidence, subsidize the costs of providers, and staking.

As part of the launch, the Lagrange team conducted an airdrop, distributing 10% of the total supply of 1 billion tokens. The airdrop lasted from May 28 to June 2, and on June 4, the token began trading on Binance, Coinbase, KuCoin, Bybit, MEXC, HTX, Bithumb, and Bitget.

According to Binance, the LA token was available to traders with at least 215 Alpha points on the platform, while Coinbase labeled the token as «experimental.» The wide availability of the token increased liquidity and expanded the investor base, which pushed its price up.

The initial price of Lagrange was around $ 0.6, but it quickly exceeded $ 1 and has now reached $ 1.5. This has given it a market capitalization of $ 13.4 million and a trading volume of $ 42.54 million in the last 24 hours.
