Pentagon accused of secretly storing alien spacecraft
The headquarters of the US Department of Defense has denied information that the military department has alien spacecraft and technologies of extraterrestrial origin. The Pentagon also rejects rumors that it has conducted structural and technological analysis of such objects in the past or now.
«The Air Force Office of Special Investigations AARO (the office in the Office of the Secretary of Defense that investigates unidentified aerial objects) has not found verifiable information to support claims that there is any program to possess or recover extraterrestrial objects now or in the past,» said Pentagon spokeswoman Susan Gough.
The department noted that it «welcomes the opportunity to speak with any current or former full-time or contract employee who believes they have information relevant to reviewing historical data.» The spokesperson said that the US Department of Defense is required to do so by congressional request and is currently preparing a report. It is expected to be presented in a year, in June 2024.
Earlier, David Grush, a former employee of the National Reconnaissance Office of the U.S. Military Space Intelligence, told the media that Washington has spacecraft of extraterrestrial origin. According to him, the United States has «undamaged and partially damaged spacecraft that have either successfully landed or crashed,» and a task force of US military experts has been finding and investigating similar objects for decades. According to Grush, sometimes the dead pilots were found during the discovery of the vehicles. «Whether you believe it or not, no matter how fantastic it sounds, it’s true,» the former USAF official told the media.
Just two weeks ago, the Pentagon was also in the spotlight of journalists. on May 22, a photo of an explosion near the headquarters of the US Department of Defense was actively circulated online. As it turned out later, the photo was generated by artificial intelligence. The viral photo triggered a market crash that lasted several minutes. During this time, the S&P 500 index dropped by 0.26%, and the Dow Jones Industrial Average fell by 80 points. However, the situation soon stabilized.
