Peter Brandt predicted the growth of the bitcoin cryptocurrency to a record $ 150,000 in 2025

This prediction is based on historical patterns observed in bitcoin’s market cycles, particularly those associated with its «half-way» drop. In his latest analysis, titled «The Beautiful Symmetry of Bitcoin’s Past Bull Market Cycles,» Brandt emphasizes the crucial role of bitcoin’s halving dates. The expert notes that the time intervals from the beginning of the bull market to the halving dates are very similar to the time intervals from the halving dates to the next market peaks.

«In particular, the number of weeks from the beginning of each bull market cycle (at least after a 75% or more drop) to the halving dates is almost equal to the number of weeks from the halving dates to the subsequent bull market highs ,» he writes.

If this pattern holds, Brandt predicts that bitcoin could reach its next peak around late August or early September 2025. He suggests that the price could soar to $ 130,000−150,000, following the inverted parabolic curve that has characterized previous bull markets.

However, Brandt remains cautious, recognizing that no method of analysis is infallible. He estimates the probability that bitcoin has already reached the peak of this cycle at 25%. The trader advises investors to keep a close eye on bitcoin’s behavior, especially if it fails to reach a new all-time high and falls below $ 55,000.
