Peter Brandt predicts bitcoin growth by 2025
Trader Peter Brandt, known for his in-depth analyses of the cryptocurrency market, has sparked a discussion online about the future trajectory of bitcoin. Brandt delved into the concept of exponential decline, pointing out the disturbing trend of diminishing momentum in bitcoin bull market cycles over time.
Brandt’s analysis highlighted four significant bull cycles in bitcoin’s history, with the current surge being the fifth. He noted the trend that each subsequent cycle shows a decrease in exponential growth, indicating a significant loss of momentum from previous cycles.
Predicting a potential peak of the current cycle at $ 72,723, which has already been reached during recent trading, Brandt emphasized the possibility that bitcoin has already reached its peak.
However, Brandt made some adjustments to his analysis, assigning only a 25% probability to his prediction, giving more weight to the report he published in February. In that report, Brandt presented a chart predicting a bull market until September-October 2025, when the price of bitcoin could potentially soar to $ 160,000.
The duality of Brandt’s predictions has sparked controversy in the cryptocurrency community, with some investors eagerly embracing the optimistic forecasts, while others remain cautious given the potential impact of an exponential decline.
Earlier, Brandt noted that the past wave of the bitcoin bull market would trigger a peak of the asset at $ 200,000, which is a significant revision of the crypto expert’s views compared to his initial estimate of BTC’s growth to $ 120,000.
«Since the price has risen above the upper boundary of the 15-month channel, the target for the current bull market cycle, which is due to end in August-September 2025, is raised from $ 120,000 to $ 200,000,» the crypto analyst said.
