According to the total number of sales of non-fungible tokens on NFT marketplaces, NFT sales increased by 26.76% between August 29 and September 4, as users became actively interested in digital collectibles again.

The total value of non-fungible tokens purchase and sale transactions in 7 days amounted to $ 180.43 million. Interestingly, only a week ago, the local number of sales of non-fungible tokens on the world’s largest NFT marketplace, OpenSea, decreased by 99%. On August 28, the platform processed $ 5 million worth of NFT transactions, and experts were talking about the possible end of the fungible token era.

The top 5 NFTs for the period from August 29 to September 4 included three non-fungible Bored Apes tokens, one NFTiff, and one Cryptopunk NFT. The Bored Monkey with BAYC #6588 became the most expensive NFT for the week, selling for 769.9 ETH (about $ 1.17 million). As a reminder, on September 1, the Bored Ape Yacht Club NFT collection reached a new historical high, with the minimum value of the Yuga Labs NFT reaching 176,989 ETH.
