OpenSea to launch new application for NFT development on the Solana blockchain
OpenSea, a marketplace for buying and selling non-fungible tokens, has announced the launch of a new application for developing NFTs on the Solana blockchain.
According to the marketplace’s representatives on its official Twitter page, the new Solana Launchpad service will allow developers to: mint their own NFTs, create whitelists for fans and the community, launch projects on the OpenSea platform, and engage in primary and secondary sales.

OpenSea also presented the first 2 NFT collections created jointly with Solana — Zoonies and Monkai (non-fungible tokens will be available for purchase on July 20 and 26). Representatives of the marketplace emphasized that all new NFT collections from Solana will automatically appear on OpenSea.
It seems that the OpenSea marketplace has become one of the few crypto platforms that have «lent a helping hand» to the Solana blockchain, which is going through a difficult time. Recently, crypto investor Mark Young filed a lawsuit against the Solana Labs cryptocurrency platform, claiming that crypto whales illegally made profits through the Solana ecosystem. According to analysts, this lawsuit will be a kind of «impetus» for other cryptocurrency investors to unite against Solana Labs and file class action lawsuits.
