WebMoney payment system starts supporting Tether stablecoin

The international payment system WebMoney has announced the launch of support for the stablecoin Tether (USDT).

From now on, users will be able to make transactions with Tether with «low and fixed» fees. 1 Webmoney Transfer (WMT) is equal to 1 Tether (USDT). USDT tokens are currently supported on Ethereum and Binance Smart Chain.

Tether has recently announced the launch of the USDT stablecoin on the second-level Polygon network. In addition to Polygon, USDT is available on Ethereum, Solana, Avalanche, Algorand, Tron, Omni, EOS, Liquid Network, Kusama, and Standard Ledger Protocol (Bitcoin Cash blockchain). «The Polygon ecosystem has seen historic growth this year, and we believe Tether will be essential to its continued prosperity,» said Paolo Ardoino, CTO of Tether.
