Previously unknown bitcoin wallet accumulated $ 3 billion in just 3 days

The newly created cryptocurrency wallet accumulated 132,877 BTC (worth about $ 3 billion) in just 3 days.

According to BitInfoCharts, the bitcoin whale’s address received 132,877 BTC between July 19 and July 21, 2022. At first, the cryptocurrency wallet received 15,499 BTC totaling $ 345.9 million (July 19). The next day, the investor increased the number of bitcoins in his account, accumulating another 45,499 BTC at a purchase price of more than $ 1 billion. On July 21, the bitcoin whale received 71,879 BTC at a price of $ 1.64 billion.

Taking into account all the data and amounts, it becomes clear that the bitcoin wallet was created by the largest non-bitcoin whale, which we wrote about a number of unexplained transactions earlier. A few days ago, the bitcoin whale withdrew the last BTC from its cryptocurrency wallet and transferred them via the Coinbase exchange to another address.

According to experts, having reviewed the transaction history, the bulk of the funds to the newly created wallet came from the Coinbase address and the largest (in the past) non-bitcoin whale. The question of the need for such transfers and the involvement of the bankrupt Coinbase platform remains open.
