Regulator allows cryptocurrency mining in Russia

The dictator of the terrorist state of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin, has signed a law legalizing cryptocurrency mining in the aggressor country. The document was previously approved by the Federation Council and the State Duma. It defines key concepts such as «mining», «mining pool», «mining infrastructure operator» and others, and establishes rules and conditions for cryptocurrency mining in Russia.

According to the law, legal entities and individual entrepreneurs of the killer country will be able to engage in mining, but only if they are registered in a special register of the Ministry of Digital Development of the Russian Federation. Individuals can engage in mining without registration if they do not exceed the established limits on electricity consumption. At the same time, the criminal government has the right to impose restrictions on mining in certain regions or territories.

The law also requires miners to provide information about the cryptocurrencies they have received and their identifying addresses to the authorized body. In addition, advertising of digital currency for the purpose of its circulation is prohibited, but trading in foreign digital financial assets on the blockchain platforms of the occupiers is allowed.

In addition, Putin signed a law that allows the Bank of Russia to conduct experiments on the use of cryptocurrencies in international payments. This could create a significant energy shortage in regions with high electricity consumption by miners in the future.
