MetaMask developers have launched a new feature for fast cryptocurrency transfer between blockchains

The developers of the MetaMask platform have announced the introduction of a new feature in the decentralized Portfolio application. From now on, users will be able to transfer cryptocurrencies from one blockchain to another with a minimum of time.

The bridge aggregator for cross-chain transactions is called Bridges and is currently available only in beta. The aggregator supports crypto transactions of up to 10,000 tokens in ETH, wrapped ETH, and stablecoins, and gas can be paid for in four ecosystems (Ethereum, Avalanche, BSC, and Polygon).

According to the developers, Bridges will support other networks in the future. Providers are divided into two categories: bridges and other aggregators. The new feature is already available to all MetaMask Mobile customers in the Portfolio dApp section.

In October, Sardine, a financial platform offering instant payments via Alchemy Pay (ACH), and ConsenSys, a technology company that owns Metamask, announced a partnership agreement. From now on, Americans can buy cryptocurrencies directly from their bank accounts through the Metamask interface, without the need to use the services of cryptocurrency exchanges.

«Unlike the traditional scheme of purchasing crypto assets, instant payments through the ACH service allow you to buy cryptocurrencies almost instantly, around the clock, seven days a week and holidays ,» Metamask said at the time. To use the new ACH Instant Payments option, Metamask users must pass KYC verification on the Sardine platform. To combat fraud, Sardine has set purchase limits of $ 3,000 per day, $ 5,000 per week, and $ 25,000 per month.
