Developers have launched an eBay competitor, the idea of which was proposed by the missing Bitcoin founder

Particl has announced the launch of an eBay-style trading platform inspired by Satoshi Nakamoto's original concept. Particl is an all-in-one decentralized financial platform designed to protect the rights and freedoms of users. The project’s goal is to create technological solutions that allow users to be independent of the services of giant companies.

As explained by Particl representatives, the new marketplace is built using smart contracts with the Particl wallet integrated into it. Users can seamlessly make purchases by paying for them with digital assets.

The founders of Particl hope that their marketplace will become a safe environment for sellers and buyers — the platform offers encrypted chat messages and purchase confirmation by phone. In addition, there are no commissions on Rarticl.

Rarticl is a working version of the unfinished marketplace of Satoshi Nakamoto, who worked on its launch in 2011 before his disappearance. In an email to Mike Hearn, one of the developers of the BTC, Satoshi wrote: «I was trying to realize an eBay-style marketplace built into the client.»

An anonymous team of developers started working on the project back in 2014 to bring the idea of the father of bitcoin to life. According to the platform’s representatives, Partіcl is the main competitor of eBay and Amazon.

It is worth mentioning that today marks 13 years since Satoshi Nakamoto first presented the bitcoin logo. As for the BTC developer, it is still not known for certain who is behind Satoshi’s name (or pseudonym). Nakamoto disappeared from the public space back in April 2011 and has not been seen since, so there is speculation that he is dead. There is also a theory that an entire development team is behind the pseudonym Satoshi Nakamoto. Before his disappearance, Nakamoto claimed to be Japanese, born on April 5, 1975. However, he was very fluent in English, so many believed him to be a resident of an English-speaking country.
