Sacramucci, Novogratz: in 2016, cryptocurrencies will grow amid a weak dollar
Anthony Scaramucci, founder of SkyBridge Capital, and Mike Novogratz , CEO of Galaxy Digital , predicted the growth of cryptocurrencies in 2026 amid the expected weakening of the US dollar. Both experts believe that the decline in interest in bitcoin and general pessimism in the market today is a sign of a countertrend that may precede a large-scale bull rally.
Scaramucci noted that the decrease in the number of bitcoin searches indicates that the market is close to the bottom. He believes that the slowdown in US inflation will allow the Federal Reserve to move to monetary policy easing in 2026.
Novogratz added that the new Fed chairman, who will be appointed at the beginning of the year, is likely to act in line with the policy of the Donald Trump administration and cut the discount rate. This will weaken the dollar and create a favorable environment for digital assets.
In addition, Novogratz drew attention to a possible correction in the precious metals sector after the rally in gold and silver. He noted that bitcoin has not yet been able to gain a foothold as «digital gold,» which raises doubts among investors, but in the event of a breakout above $ 100,000, the situation will change.
Analysts believe that the cryptocurrency market currently has all the fundamental conditions for growth — all that remains is to wait for a trigger. Bitwise and Grayscale also announced positive forecasts for 2026.
