Saga cryptocurrency phone is almost sold out

Representatives of the Solana blockchain and the Solana Mobile team announced on their X (ex-Twitter) page a complete sale of all Saga phones.

The reason for the excitement was the distribution of 30 million BONK (~$ 900), which are available to every Saga user, while the smartphone itself costs $ 599.

Solana representatives do not disclose whether they plan to produce new versions or models of the phone. «We are extremely encouraged by this surge of interest in Saga,» the developers said. «Right now, our priority is to continue to listen to our community so that we can understand what that demand looks like, both now and in the future, and assess what’s next.»

The Solana Saga phone was released in April and is a high-end Android smartphone with deeper and more accessible crypto integration than the average mass market.

Solana Labs lowered the price to $ 599 in August, but the future of Saga and the promising Solana mobile ecosystem remained unclear. According to preliminary data, only a few thousand devices were sold in the first few months.
