Samsung to develop its own virtual space in the Roblox meta-universe

Global tech giant Samsung has announced the launch of its own virtual space Space Tycoon in the Roblox metaverse, Samsung representatives said.

In the Space Tycoon virtual space, users will be able to learn more about the company’s history, product development stages, and will have the opportunity to work on the creation of new Samsung equipment. According to the idea of the virtual space developers, Space Tycoon is a space station where users will be able to become co-authors of new products from the company. Samsung fans will also be able to launch a virtual store with unique items for their avatars.

This is not the first integration of Samsung into the Web-3 space. In early June, Samsung launched its Discord server for users. All participants who joined Discord within 24 hours received an exclusive OG role. According to the developers, OG roles guarantee many benefits to their owners in the future, including access to the Samsung metaverse (possibly even to the new Space Tycoon virtual space), free NFTs, and retrodrops (distribution of new project tokens for previously used ones).
