Sam Bankman-Fried explains why he didn’t help Elon Musk buy Twitter

Benkman-Fried noted: «Elon has a vision of what he wants to do with Twitter, and it doesn’t quite match my vision.»

Even during Elon Musk’s legal battle with Twitter, Bankman-Fried's personal correspondence with the billionaire was leaked online. As it became known, Will McAskill, an adviser to the head of FTX, tried to organize a meeting between Bankman-Fried and Elon Musk in March 2022. In the correspondence, Fried’s subordinate suggested that Musk discuss a possible joint effort to buy Twitter. A joint decision was never reached, as the billionaire was not interested in Bankman-Fried investing in the acquisition of the social network, as Binance CEO Чанпен Чжао" href="https://noworries.media/biography/chanpen-chzhao/" data-bio-id="3681">Changpeng Zhao did.

The FTX founder noted that the correspondence with Musk was not made public in full, so the crypto community began to demand the official publication of all correspondence. In light of the events, the controversial crypto blogger Ben Армстронг «href="https://noworries.media/biography/brajan-armstrong/» data-bio-id="3684">Armstrong even trolled Bankman-Fried.
