The server of the popular NFT collection Bored Apes was hacked again

The Discord servers of the BAYC and Otherside projects appear to have been hacked, with the attackers posting a phishing link in the servers' chat rooms.

Gullible token holders were lured to the site with promises of an «exclusive giveaway.» According to preliminary data, 145 ETH (USD 256,000) were stolen. At the moment, the BAYC server on Discord has been shut down, and the Otherside server has urged not to fall for provocations.

Yuga Labs has not yet made an official statement on the incident. According to Coingecko, the minimum price of BAYC was temporarily reduced, but then recovered. According to PeckShield, a blockchain analytics company, 32 NFTs were stolen.

This is not the first attack on the BAYC Discord server this year. Moreover, weekends have traditionally become a time of hacking — earlier on Sunday, the Twitter account of the most popular digital artist Beeple was hacked.
