Snoop Dogg to launch its own virtual reality and NFT
The American rapper Snoop Dogg has applied for registration of new trademarks UNCLE SNOOP and UNCLE SNOOP’S — all for the future meta-universe and collection of non-fungible tokens.
Snoop Dogg’s lawyer Michael Kondoudis announced the plans on Twitter. Kondoudis emphasized that the rapper’s activities in virtual reality will cover many areas: clothing and accessories, footwear, virtual marijuana, smoking products, and NFT collections.

If the rapper’s application for trademark registration is approved, he plans to develop NFTs for energy drinks. It sounds strange, but why not? Snoop Dogg is not the first famous person to create his own NFT collection. For example, Hollywood actor Johnny Depp launched a collection of his own non-fungible tokens called Never Fear Truth, which rose in price after the actor won a lawsuit against his ex-wife Amber Heard.
