Solana cryptocurrency developers name conditions under which they will give users $ 1 million
The Solana team has announced the launch of a new Bug Bounty program, where users can get up to $ 1 million for finding bugs in the new Firedancer validator client. The program starts on July 10 and will last for six weeks.
The new Bug Bounty program is supported by the blockchain security platform Immunefi and aims to increase the resilience and reliability of the Solana network. The Firedancer client is developed in C and C++, which makes it optimized for high-frequency trading. According to the developers, testing of Firedancer is going well, and it has already proven to be a more reliable solution compared to the QUIC data transfer protocol developed by Google.
To receive a reward, users must identify bugs in the new client and pass the know your customer (KYC) verification. The developers expect this initiative to help identify and fix potential vulnerabilities, which will ensure the stable operation of the Solana network.
Solana is considered to be one of the fastest blockchains in the crypto industry, ranking first in CoinGecko’s Transactions Per Second (TPS) ranking. In April, the average daily transaction rate reached a record high of 1,504 TPS. However, the network often faces overloads, especially during times of increased market activity.
It is worth reminding that meme cryptocurrencies on the Solana blockchain show better results than their counterparts on the Ethereum blockchain. Recently, several meme tokens on the Solana platform, including Chewy (CHWY) and PEPESOL, have significantly increased in value, outperforming their Ethereum competitors.
