Solana has launched its own meme-coin

We are talking about the Bonk Inu (BONK) token, another dog coin, this time launched on the Solana blockchain. In fact, BONK was launched a few weeks ago — on December 25, 2022 — but the coin has attracted special attention from the crypto community now, after it rose in price by almost 2000% in a week.

Bonk Inu upheld the tradition of launching «dog» coins and became the first such meme coin launched on the Solana network. Although analysts were not impressed by the tokenomics and official documents of the coin, the community seems to be delighted, which means that the token has fulfilled its main task.

The Solana network has suffered greatly over the past two months, including for reasons related to the FTX crash, but perhaps a little good cheer is exactly what the community needs right now, in addition to Vitalik Buterin's support.

This is eloquently hinted at by the price growth chart of the BONK token, which has already collapsed from its peak values, but according to CoinMarketCap, it has grown by more than 34% over the past day.
