SpaceX has broken the record for the number of launches

The American company SpaceX has broken the record for the number of launches of Falcon 9 rockets. ArsTechnica writes about it.

The publication drew attention to the fact that the launch of the Falcon 9 on September 3 was the 62nd in 2023 for rockets of this family. Meanwhile, in 2022, the company launched 61 Falcon 9 and Falcon Heavy carriers, which was a record for the time.

ArsTechnica, citing BryceTech, writes that SpaceX delivered approximately 447 tons of cargo to Earth orbit in the first half of 2023, which is about 80 percent of the total payload launched into space worldwide. The publication notes that almost 60 percent of these cargoes were from Starlink satellites.
