Dogecoin co-founder: cryptocurrencies are an ideal tool for online fraudsters
In a recent interview with The Project, Dogecoin co-founder Jackson Palmer said that cryptocurrencies are facilitating fraud: «Because this particular technology exists outside of the control of governments, because in a blockchain a transaction is irreversible, it really has enabled fraudsters to do what they do without regard to possible punishment.»
At the same time, Palmer does not believe that cryptocurrencies are fraudulent in themselves. He also noted that he does not own any significant amount of DOGE, as he has always perceived the meme token as a joke. He perceives the current price rally as the madness of the world around him and believes that the stock market is much better than the cryptocurrency market because it is regulated by governments and protects traders at least a little bit.
Earlier, Palmer had a quarrel with Elon Musk and this is not the first time he has criticized the cryptocurrency community.
