The exact release date of the cryptocurrency smartphone from Solana has been announced

Developers of Solana Mobile, a subsidiary of Solana Labs, have announced that sales of the Web 3.0 smartphone Saga will start on April 13. Users from the USA, Canada, the UK, Switzerland, Australia, New Zealand, and the EU countries can pre-order the gadgets for $ 1000. The news became known from Solana Mobile’s official Twitter account.

Users of the crypto smartphone will be able to trade cryptocurrencies with ease, and to confirm transactions, it will be enough to touch the scanner on the back of the device. «Smartphone owners will be able to trade tokens while waiting in line for coffee, issue NFTs while commuting to work, and get instant access to dApps anywhere and anytime,» the developers said on the official Solana Mobile website.

Solana Saga is a premium Android smartphone with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chip, 12 gigabytes of RAM, and an OLED display. The device is equipped with a 50-megapixel Sony IMX766 main camera sensor. Saga also has a 16-megapixel camera for selfies and video calls. The device supports wireless charging.
