It became known which cryptocurrencies have doubled in value over the past week
Cryptocurrency market experts have identified five cryptocurrencies from the top 100 that have risen in price by more than half of their value. Analysts believe that the growth occurred amid a global recovery of the entire cryptocurrency market, whose total capitalization has reached $ 1.1 trillion.
Last week’s leader was the cryptocurrency LUNA, whose rate rose by 191.18%. At the same time, the value of the digital asset fell sharply by 14.55% over the past day alone. Currently, LUNA is trading at $ 5.22, and its market capitalization is $ 665.48 million. Last weekend, LUNA’s value reached $ 6.16, tripling its price.
Ravencoin (RVN) is the second most profitable cryptocurrency of the week. The token’s price increased by 69.4% in 7 days, and the digital asset is trading at $ 0.054. The market capitalization amounted to $ 575.65 million.
The third place went to the Golem cryptocurrency (GLM), which has sharply increased in value over the past 24 hours. The asset is currently trading at $ 0.039, which is 39.32% more expensive than yesterday and 66.53% higher than last week. The total capitalization of the digital asset is $ 378.5 million.
TerraClassicUSD (USTC) managed to become more expensive by 66.07%, reaching the price point of $ 0.051. The total market capitalization amounted to $ 501.98 million.
As for LUNC, its value increased by 57.48% over the week and now the asset is trading at $ 0.0004. As of today, the market capitalization is $ 2.49 billion. Earlier, we wrote that the original Terra token blockchain (LUNA) managed to grow in value by as much as 2400% in just 7 days.
We would like to remind you that TerraformLabs' attempt to recover in early June after the TerraUSD (UST) token crash ended in failure — the LUNA 2.0 cryptocurrency token fell in price by 85%. The reason for the uncontrolled fall was the cryptocurrency market’s distrust of Terraform Labs founder Do Kwon, who was involved in many criminal and commercial proceedings.
