Streamers on Twitch will be able to create NFTs

Twitch streamers will be able to create their own non-fungible tokens (NFTs) that they can distribute among their fans.

The information became known thanks to the representatives of the digital platform PlayNFT, who confirmed Twitch’s consent to issue a cash grant for the project development. They will also use additional funding from the RippleX XRPL program.

Thus, the funds will be invested in the creation of personal NFT collections on XRPLedger by streamers. The authors of the project did not provide details on the future expansion of the platform’s functionality, but confirmed the use of the created assets in blockchain games. It is also unknown whether the tokens will be focused on the streamer’s own video content or on the achievements he or she realizes during the game.
