Tesla sells collectibles for cryptocurrency

Tesla, a company owned by billionaire Elon Musk, has introduced another collectible item — a «cyber whistle». The design resembles the Cybertruck electric pickup truck and is sold only for the Dogecoin cryptocurrency. The cost of the collectible whistle was 1000 DOGE (approximately $ 60). «The Cyber Whistle was released in a limited edition and has already been sold out. Tesla promised that the purchase would be delivered to customers in 4−6 weeks.

«The design of the cyber whistle is inspired by the Tesla Cybertruck model. It is a premium collectible made of polished medical grade stainless steel. Users will be able to hang the whistle on a strap, which will make it more versatile in use,» the announcement reads.

As with the sale of other collectibles, Tesla’s website emphasizes that users should check the details of payments in Dogecoin, as the company will not be able to refund the customer in case of an erroneous transaction.

More recently, Tesla CEO himself posted a photo of a whistle and told users that they could buy such «devices» for DOGE.

Users believe that in this way Musk again ridiculed Twitter for the large number of bots. «Twitter employees have to blow the whistle very hard to be heard by the management and start fighting bots,» followers wrote ironically in the comments under the billionaire’s post.
