The anonymous crypto whale who recently purchased Ethereum for over $ 160 million may be Justin Sun

Justin Sun, the founder of Tron, may be the person behind the $ 160.7 million acquisition of ETH, judging by the address associated with it.

Recently, the price of the leading altcoin ETH $2,964.41 Ethereum -1.32% Market capitalization $356.33 billion VOL. 24 hours $1.48 billion has been rising rapidly and is approaching the $ 3,000 mark, all thanks to whale activity, ETH ETF spot exchanges, and the upcoming Dencun upgrade.

According to a report by Lookonchain on X, the ETH acquisition was made via the cryptocurrency exchange Binance and several decentralized exchanges (DEX).

The wallet, recognized by the partial address «TWGHNc,» has been scrutinized for its transactions, including the withdrawal of 500 million USDT in Tether from HTX, formerly known as Huobi. The transactions took place on Sunday, February 18.

The correlation between the transactions from the wallet tagged «TWGHNc» and another wallet, «0x7a95,» has attracted attention due to their synchronized activity. In turn, this may indicate a possible connection between them.

Moreover, a 50 million USDT deposit on Binance by TWGHNc on February 1 was followed by a withdrawal of 9,959 ETH from the exchange by 0x7a95 on February 12. These transactions, especially the large movements with HTX, hint at the possibility that the wallet may be linked to Sun.

Last year in October, the HTX cryptocurrency exchange and Huobi ECO Chain (HECO) were subjected to a hacker attack. At first, experts published a warning stating that 10,000 ETH ($ 19 million) had been withdrawn from the Heco bridge. This was followed by several more transfers to various unknown addresses.
