So far, no details about the vulnerability have been published. One of Zhao’s followers pointed out that Pegasus is a type of malware that can infect iPhones and other Apple devices, not a group of hackers, as the exchange’s head indicated.
CZ emphasized that it does not have detailed information, so it published a warning that was reported to it by a team of cyber specialists. According to X users, Pegasus was developed by the Israeli cyberweapons company NSO Group, which is used by governments to spy on individuals.
As a reminder, cybercriminals have learned how to attack iPhones using the Flipper Zero hacking device. The gadget costs less than a smartphone — only $ 169. However, despite its relatively inexpensive price, it «terrorizes» iPhone owners with an endless series of annoying pop-ups offering to connect to AirTag, Apple TV, AirPods, and other Apple products.
