Coinbase top manager to develop a social network based on blockchain

Former Coinbase vice president Dan Romero has announced the development of his own decentralized social network, Farcaster, and has already raised $ 30 million from venture capitalists.

According to Dan Romero’s official website: «Farcaster is a new decentralized social network. Our goal is to develop a protocol in which company representatives have open relationships with their customers and developers are free to create new software solutions without first obtaining any permissions.»

Obviously, changing jobs is beneficial for developers. Recently, the former head of TikTok’s gaming division Jason Fang announced the launch of his own game development platform called Meta0. However, unlike Dan Romero, Fang has not yet found venture capitalists willing to invest in the startup.
