Tron cryptocurrency developer accused of fraud with digital asset
The cryptocurrency community has been hit by a new scandal: blogger Teng Teng (Zen Ging) has publicly stated that at an early stage of the Tron project’s development, she witnessed large-scale manipulations with the TRX token, which were allegedly carried out by its founder Justin Sun. She made her allegations in a series of posts on the social network X.
According to Ten Ten, Sun used personal data of employees to create numerous accounts on Binance. These accounts, she claims, were used for coordinated purchases and sales of TRX to artificially inflate the price, followed by large-scale sales to retail investors.
The blogger emphasized that she has correspondence on WeChat and testimonies from employees in Beijing that confirm her words. She expressed her readiness to cooperate with the US Securities and Exchange Commission, emphasizing that all materials were saved in multiple copies and transferred to trustees in case of threats to her safety.
In her posts, Teng also touched on personal motivations, noting that she decided to speak out after Sun publicly displayed his wealth and new relationship. She mentioned the names of famous personalities, including athlete Eileen Gu, and questioned the entrepreneur’s political ties, calling on Donald Trump’s family to withdraw their support for Sun.
Separately, the blogger stated that she feared for her own safety and emphasized that she had no intention of harming herself. She described herself as an ordinary person who decided to speak out despite the risks, and emphasized that she had only published a part of the materials. Justin Sun had not commented on the allegations at the time of going to press.
