In Britain, $ 48,200 per month will be paid for hunting hackers and cryptocurrency fraudsters
The UK’s National Crime Agency (NCA) intends to form a special team to investigate crimes related to digital assets.
The unit is called the National Cybercrime Unit (NCCU) Crypto Cell. Initially, the team will consist of five officers. Those who meet the NCA requirements have until January 10 to apply. If approved, the specialist will receive a salary of $ 48,200 to $ 52,400 per month.
The NCA stated that it intends to focus on current investigations in the cryptocurrency industry and those that will appear, requiring candidates to have relevant skills and experience with new technologies. The agency has promised that the main task of the new department will not be to investigate crypto violations, but to prevent them.
The UK is already one of the most active players in the cryptocurrency market. Along with a fairly progressive legislative system and a desire to launch its national stablecoin, the country’s authorities often make rather conservative statements and actions aimed at strictly regulating the cryptocurrency sector.
