Hollywood has developed a cryptocurrency token for movie sponsorship

California-based producers Ben Rosenblatt and Micho Rutare have presented a project to finance independent films using a token called FLIX.

Previously, Rosenblatt and Rutare’s company American Meme was engaged in attracting fiat investments for the production of indie films, but now the producers intend to revolutionize the industry.

Using the FLIX token, movie lovers and film production participants will sponsor indie films, as the commission paid as part of the transaction will replenish the film fund by 75%. The remaining 25%, according to the founders, will be used for marketing and production needs in connection with the token support.

Token holders will have access to exclusive chats with actors and filming participants, will be able to receive behind-the-scenes information and vote on issues that will be submitted for consideration by the filmmakers.
