Greece attempts to detain the most sophisticated cryptocurrency fraudster
Greek law enforcement agencies have attempted to detain cryptocurrency fraudster and OneCoin founder R贸偶a Ignatova.
As it has become known, the Greek authorities received intelligence data that the crypto queen is in Greece, and the police failed to find and catch her. According to law enforcement officials, Ruzha Ignatova has been hiding in Greece for 5 years since she fled Bulgaria. However, neither Interpol, nor Europol, nor the US Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), which has announced a $ 100,000 reward for any information about the fraudster, have been able to find out the exact whereabouts of the crypto queen.
Ruzha Ignatova founded the OneCoin pyramid scheme, which she and her offshore company OneCoin Ltd promoted under the guise of a cryptocurrency. Ignatova promised investors to make OneCoin the most popular virtual currency in the world, encouraging users to transfer their own savings to OneCoin investment accounts. According to rough estimates, the fraudster received $ 4 billion. Ignatova is currently on the list of the 10 most wanted crypto fraudsters.
