Metamask cryptocurrency wallet adds NFT token evaluation function

6:15 pm, November 20, 2022

The popular cryptocurrency wallet MetaMask continues to improve its product. This time, at the request of many users, MetaMask has introduced the NFT pricing feature.

Previously, the wallet added a feature where users could access an overview of cryptocurrencies and NFTs associated with the wallet’s ecosystem. Now, MetaMask goes further in this direction by simplifying the NFT valuation function.

Users can click on any of their NFTs and get the estimated price of the token. The function requested by the user is supported by data collected by the NFTbank. ai service. Thus, the price is determined using market parameters that have an accuracy of about 90%. The new feature can be accessed by clicking on the Portfolio link in the wallet. The developers have warned that for little-known NFTs, their technology partner will simply not be able to provide theoretical value due to a lack of information about the token or collection.

The improvement of MetaMask’s functionality comes amid another downturn in the cryptocurrency market caused by the collapse of the FTX exchange. The wallet’s developers decided to take advantage of the unstable time to improve and innovate, just like their colleagues from Trezor and Ledger-pidskochyly-v-4−5-razy-za-dobu-dyakuyuchy-novynam-pro-problemy-kryptovalyutnyh-platform/">Ledger.

On November 10, the developers of the MetaMask platform announced the introduction of a new feature in the decentralized Portfolio application. From now on, users will be able to transfer cryptocurrencies from one blockchain to another, spending a minimum of time.
