A virtual Elvis Presley museum will be created in the metaverse

Elvis Presley Enterprises and DAPPCRAFT have announced a project that will launch a virtual meeting place with the pop music icon. The project will start with a party in Decentraland, where the maximum number of Elvis fans will gather in one place — it will become a world record, which will be recorded by the Guinness Book of Records.

The authors say that the place will be «half a time capsule, half an amusement park.» Visitors will be able to see the digital clothes worn by Presley: a suit, glasses, a wig, and boots. The singer’s descendants want to honor the legend and create a cult place for all his fans.

The next stage of the project will be the launch of 1935 unique Elvis Genesis Key NFT tokens. Each NFT will be based on a rare recording from 1968, the year Elvis returned to the stage. Token holders will also have access to a special chat in the discord and an art gallery (real and virtual).

Collectors will also be able to vote for the future of several unreleased songs by the singer.
