The US calls for the release of the main enemy of cryptocurrencies

2:57 pm, June 18, 2023

Scott Melker, a well-known cryptocurrency analyst and strategist, urged his Twitter followers to vote for the resignation of Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) Chairman Gary Gensler, the main enemy of cryptocurrencies.

The person known on social media under the pseudonym The Wolf Of All Streets said that many people are writing to him to not take risks. According to them, the analyst’s rhetoric «can lead to problems that no one needs.»

Melker believes that his colleagues and friends fear for his fate as an analyst because of his aggressive statements against the government and calls for the dismissal of the head of the US financial regulator. However, the expert noted that he believes this position is wrong.

According to Scott Melker, you cannot remain silent if you disagree with something. The analyst emphasized that he would always defend the opinion he believes to be correct. The Wolf Of All Streets stated that he has a voice and he will always use it, which he advised his followers to do as well. Melker is convinced that if cryptocurrency supporters remain silent now, it will be too late.

Melker shared his opinion against the backdrop of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission’s (SEC) «hunt» for illegally issued securities in the form of cryptocurrencies. More than 60 coins have already been blacklisted by the regulator. At the same time, experts believe that the list of problematic cryptocurrencies will grow.

In addition, Gary Gensler called all cryptocurrencies except bitcoin securities. This provoked panic among traders and massive sales of virtual assets.
