Telegram launches a service for buying and selling cryptocurrency

The developers of the Telegram bot @WalletBot have announced the addition of the ability to buy/sell cryptocurrencies on the platform. As it became known, the commission for the sale of digital assets is 0.9%, and there is no commission for the purchase.

According to the information provided by @WalletBot representatives, to use the new services, users need to enter their phone number and connect a bank card. Currently, only 2 cryptocurrencies are available for purchase: Toncoin (TON) and Bitcoin, but the developers promise to add other digital assets in the near future. To buy cryptocurrency, users can use hryvnia, dollars, euros, tenge, and the Belarusian ruble.

«Staying in Telegram, you can buy cryptocurrency, send it to friends under a short nickname without long wallet addresses, access the Internet, pay for a subscription to your favorite Telegram channel and many other services,» said a representative of @WalletBot.

In addition to a bot for buying cryptocurrencies, Telegram has a bot that predicts the value of digital assets. As it became known at the end of August, a developer under the name xk4rimx created the Crypto Predictor Bot, a Telegram bot that predicts the value of cryptocurrencies for a day, week, or month. Crypto Predictor Bot uses the Firebase database (a cloud-based database that stores, transports, and synchronizes information in real time on each client device).
