The first ever NFT token purchase machine has been launched in Europe

Representatives of MyNFT have launched the first ever NFT vending machine for the purchase of non-fungible tokens, located in London. The machine was unveiled at the NFT. London event.

As the authors of the new product explained, anyone can use the NFT machine, and you don’t even need to have a cryptocurrency wallet. NFT purchases can be paid with a bank card via Apple Pay. As for the value of tokens offered in the machine, their price is the same — 10 pounds sterling. After payment, customers receive a postcard with a QR code. By clicking on the link, the customer will open their own MyNFT account along with a wallet where the purchased token is stored.

MyNFT emphasized that all the proceeds from the sale of NFTs in this way will be donated to charity. To join the initiative, leading brands have donated their collections to sell tokens through the machine. Among them are Who Worlds Apart, Thunderbirds, and Delft Blue Night Watch.

«The easiest way to buy something is through a street vending machine. Withthis new product, we are destroying the belief that buying NFTs is difficult,» said MyNFT CEO.

So far, Londoners have not shown the expected interest in the novelty, so it is unknown whether NFT machines will be installed in other cities and countries. The same cannot be said for cryptocurrency ATMs, the total number of which is approaching 40,000 worldwide. According to Research and Markets, the crypto ATM space is currently estimated at $ 46.4 million. Experts believe that this figure will grow 10 times by 2027, given the growing popularity of cryptocurrencies and the increasing number of cryptomachines around the world.

Bitcoin remains the most popular cryptocurrency for transactions (100% of crypto-ATMs support transactions with BTC). About 81% of cryptomachines allow transactions with Litecoin, 74% with Ethereum, and 40% with Dogecoin.
