Ukraine is among the world leaders in the use of cryptocurrencies

According to analytics firm Chainalysis, Ukraine ranked third in the global cryptocurrency adoption index in 2022. The experts even organized a vote among their Twitter followers. According to the respondents, Ukraine should have taken a prominent place in the top countries.

Nevertheless, according to the study, the first place in the list belongs to Vietnam, the second to the Philippines. The United States of America rounds out the top five.

It should be noted that the following indicators were taken into account when compiling the Chainalysis rating

• the value of cryptocurrencies traded on centralized exchanges
• the volume of P2P trading
• the volume of transactions conducted through DeFi protocols.

The fact that Ukraine is among the top three countries in terms of cryptocurrency use is not really a surprise.
