Ukrainians will be able to use cryptocurrency at WOG gas stations

Cryptocurrency exchange Binance has announced cooperation with the Ukrainian gas station chain WOG, allowing its customers to pay for fuel in cryptocurrency.

According to the information published on the official Binance website, thanks to the contactless payment technology Binance Pay and the availability of a crypto wallet, WOG customers will be able to pay for purchases at gas stations with digital assets. Binance representatives have published step-by-step payment instructions:

Step 1. Arrive at any WOG gas station.
Step 2. Choose the type of payment for fuel WOG PAY through the PRIDE app from WOG.
Step 3. Select the required type of fuel, column and volume.
Step 4. Among the proposed payment methods, select Binance Pay and confirm the payment in the Binance mobile application.

Binance will also share a gift of UAH 500,000 among several WOG customers in honor of the start of the partnership between the filling station and the exchange. To get a chance to win the money, you need to refuel your car for at least UAH 100 by paying for the service through Binance Pay.

It is worth noting that WOG is not the only company of the national scale with which Binance cooperates. On September 15, it was announced that Binance has partnered with the Varus supermarket chain to pay for purchases in cryptocurrency using Binance Pay. In honor of the new cooperation, Binance also launched a sweepstakes.
