Ukrainian cryptocurrency exchange launches its own token

The Ukrainian cryptocurrency exchange WhiteBIT has launched its own WTB token today, with users sharing different impressions of the launch on Twitter.

As it became known, the sale of WTB started today at 15:00 (Kyiv time) and will last until August 31. According to the exchange’s representatives, a total of 400,000,000 WTB have been issued. The cost of 1 WTB is 1.9 USDT, and the minimum number of tokens that can be purchased is 25 WTB.

Users shared their impressions of the launch on Twitter: some were able to buy the desired number of tokens at once, while others faced technical problems due to the site’s overload.

At the time of writing, WhiteBIT’s website has posted a message about the completion of the WTB token sale. However, it is not yet known whether this is a technical error or whether users have actually purchased all available tokens.

Earlier, representatives of the exchange reported that a total of 400,000,000 WBT were issued. Some tokens worth 78 million WBT were sold in a private auction. These tokens will be blocked for 3 months, after which 20% of them will be unblocked every 5 months.
