Ukrainian cryptocurrency developer lures blockchain game developers

Game creators are in no hurry to implement Web3 technologies in their projects. Developers explain that they lack a unified professional environment, compatible tools, and opportunities to integrate Web3 elements into current startups.

To solve this problem, Solana Labs came up with GameShift. It is a unified API for developing games based on Web3 technologies. Through it, you can access various web components that can be easily modified, combined, and embedded into projects.

Developers have access to:

• solutions for storing game assets
• marketplaces
• tools for issuing NFTs
• payment instruments.

The creators of GameShift promise that this API will reduce the time for creating blockchain games. In addition, developers will be able to update their old projects and improve the gaming experience of users.

«Game developers for Web3 need innovative technologies that will simplify and speed up the creation process. That’s what GameShift is all about,» said Tal Tchwella, Head of Product at Solana Labs. — «GameShift, powered by Solana, will be a versatile tool that will help developers create games faster and with more confidence.»

GameShift is scheduled to be released by the end of the year, but in the meantime, everyone can join the waiting list.

According to DappRadar, about 40 gaming projects have been created on the Solana blockchain, but none of them can boast of viable gaming activity. The most promising project in terms of user activity is Genopets. About 6000 addresses interact with the game every day.
