Ukraine was named the most cryptocurrency-oriented country
Famous cryptocurrency blogger, financial advisor, and investor Lark Davis called Ukraine the environment where society is most focused on cryptocurrency in the world. He shared his thoughts on his YouTube channel. Davis noted that 12.7% of Ukrainians own cryptocurrency.
In the context of the Russian-Ukrainian war, Davis’s statement is not surprising. According to analytics firm Chainalysis, Ukraine ranks third in the 2022 Global Cryptocurrency Adoption Index. The experts even organized a vote among their Twitter followers. According to the respondents, Ukraine should have taken a prominent place in the top countries.
Blockchain technologies are helping to raise funds for the education of Ukrainian talented children who were forced to flee from Russian occupiers abroad, and Ukrainian and American artists are painting infrastructure destroyed during the Russian invasion in the city of Irpin. The illustrations are being sold as NFTs — the authors say they want to help rebuild Ukraine after the victory.
